The Hundred Line: Tactical RPG with a Strategic Edge
Unlike traditional narrative-driven games, The Hundred Line leans heavily into its core gameplay mechanic, pushing players into a full-fledged tactical RPG experience. Unlike titles like Zero Escape or Danganronpa, where the story leads the gameplay, here you are tasked with defending the Last Defense Academy—humanity’s final bastion of hope.
Combat takes on a strategic layer where attacks fan out in a V-shaped pattern, dealing increased damage if the target lacks allies adjacent on either side. Players can also deploy spy towers, which automatically strike all enemies within range at the end of a turn. While this might sound repetitive on paper, the game’s battles stay fresh thanks to the variety of enemies and the distinct abilities of each student under your command.
